Columbia Mutual Insurance Company (Columbia) appeals a decision by a Washington County chancellor that dismissed appellant’s complaint with prejudice after concluding as a matter of law that 1) the statutory definition of policy cancellation did not apply to unilateral terminations or cancellations by a policyholder, 2) Columbia was not entitled to contribution, indemnity, or subrogation against appellee Home Mutual Fire Insurance Company (Home) because Home’s policy was effectively terminated prior to a fire loss, and 3) Columbia lacked standing to complain.
