Appellees, Mrs. Ethel Hollingsworth Perritt and her two minor children, brought this action in the circuit court of Clarjke county against appellant, Long-Bell Lumber Sales Corporation, and its foreman, Lebbeus Smith,- to recover damages for the death of Hinds Perritt, the husband and father of appellees, caused by the alleged negligence of the lumber company. The trial resulted in a judgment in favor of the wife and children in the sum of $15,000, from which judgment the lumber company prosecutes this appeal:
