Appellant James Kevin Yost was convicted of the murder of his twelve-year-old stepdaughter. On appeal, he contends that the jury improperly considered the testimony of his common-law wife, Bridget Farmer, who pleaded guilty to the offense of injury to a child. Appellant argues that his wife is an accomplice, that her testimony is uncorroborated, and that the evidence would have been legally insufficient to support his conviction if his wife’s testimony had been properly excluded under the accomplice-witness rule.
