A final decree was entered on September 18,1969 in the Circuit Court of St. Clair County granting defendant-counterplaintiff Phyllis Shive a divorce and making certain property dispositions, and on October 17, 1969 plaintiff-counter-defendant William J. Shive filed a notice of appeal. Thereafter plaintiff made a motion for an extension of time in which to file the report of proceedings which was granted on December 4, 1969, extending the time 42 days from December 5, 1969 to January 16, 1970.
