Claimant filed a two-count complaint seeking recovery for injuries sustained by her husband in a collision involving the husbands vehicle and that of an Illinois State trooper. The incident occurred on September 18, 1986, and her husband eventually died on December 22, 1989. The complaint was filed with this Court on August 3, 1992, almost six years after the collision and more than two and one-half years following her husbands death.
