Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Broome County (Monserrate, J.), rendered February 3, 1988, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crime of scheme to defraud in the first degree.

Defendant was held in the Broome County Jail for approximately 10 months on an indictment charging five counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, one count of forgery in the second degree and one count of scheme to defraud in the first degree.
