HENSAL, Judge.

{¶1} Julia Schwendeman appeals a judgment of the Summit County Court of Common Pleas that denied her motion for summary judgment on the issue of immunity. For the following reasons, this Court affirms.

{¶2} Ms. Schwendeman is a guidance counselor at a middle school in the Medina City School District. According to her, in early September 2012, she received a request to check on D.B., an eighth grader, regarding scratching.
