In her complaint, the plaintiff, Temmessia Thurmond (“Thurmond”), alleges that the defendant, Drive Automotive Industries of America, Inc. (“Drive”), violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 by creating a hostile work environment and then retaliating against her when she initiated proceedings under Title VII and internal complaint procedures. (Complaint, ECF No. 1.)
