Kevin E. Hicks appeals the judgment following his convictions and sentences for two counts of first-degree robbery, one count of forcible rape, one count of attempted forcible rape, and five counts of forcible sodomy. On appeal, he claims the trial court erred in admitting into evidence his incriminating statements to police because the statements were made involuntarily in reliance on an agreement the state has failed to honor.
