OAKES, Circuit Judge:

This is an appeal from convictions arising from an attempt to distribute a large quantity of counterfeit United States currency. Appellants were all convicted of conspiring to possess and distribute counterfeit currency in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371, and in addition, appellants Rizzo, 1 Salli and Heimerle were convicted of the substantive count of possessing counterfeit bills in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 472. A sixth defendant, Joseph Calise, was also found guilty of both the conspiracy and possession counts, but has apparently abandoned his appeal before this court. All…
