This is- a suit instituted in a court of equity for the foreclosure of a mortgage.

On June 1, 1926, the.persons above named as respondents, together with E. B. Hallberg, R. A. Vitousek and D. L. Crawford, being desirous of purchasing a certain piece of land, together with the buildings thereon, situate at Waikiki, having an area of 27,300 square feet and known as the Jake Brown property, entered into an arrangement with the Hawaiian Trust Company, Limited, also named as a respondent herein, whereby the trust company loaned to the prospective puehasers the sum…
