Harbor Insurance Company issued to OMNI Construction Company an excess liability insurance policy that excludes from coverage any loss resulting from the rendition, by or for OMNI, of certain “professional services.” After OMNI filed, and Harbor investigated, a claim arising from a loss OMNI suffered at a construction site, Harbor sought a declaratory judgment that it is not liable on the ground that a “professional service,” viz. engineering, caused the loss.
