OPINION

NIX, Chief Justice.

The instant appeal presents a challenge to the validity of a driver’s license suspension for refusal to submit to a *177breathalyzer test after the licensee was arrested at a roadblock, conducted by the State Police in an attempt to detect drivers operating motor vehicles under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Central to the appellant’s challenge is his assertion that the roadblock was unconstitutional.

Appellant Raymond Wysocki’s vehicle was stopped in the early morning hours of July 10, 1983, at a “traffic check” being conducted by six State Troopers on Route 512…
