Todd v. Ligon

Supreme Court of Arkansas

Decided February 19, 2004No. 03-415PublishedCited by 3 opinions

1Opinion of the Court

Robert L. Brown, Justice.

Appellant Michael Everett Todd appeals from two orders of the Greene County Circuit Court. The first order granted summary judgment in favor of appellee Stark Ligón, Executive Director of the Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct (Committee), and the second order disbarred Mr. Todd from the practice of law in Arkansas. His sole point on appeal is that the circuit court erred in disbarring him without first appointing counsel to represent him under former Arkansas Rule of Civil Procedure 17(c). We affirm the orders of the circuit court.
