OPINION OF THE COURT
SNYDER, Judge:
Contrary to his pleas, appellant stands convicted by general court-martial of five specifications of assault and battery upon *892his wife, in violation of Article 128, UCMJ (10 U.S.C. § 928 (1988)).1 He was sentenced to confinement for 12 months and reduction to E-l. He raises 11 assignments of error, of which only three merit extensive comment. Finding no error prejudicial to the substantive rights of appellant, we affirm.
