On September 5, 2000, plaintiff Judy Taylor (“Taylor”) brought this action individually and as the administratrix of the estate of Tarek D. Myrick (“Myriek”) against National Railroad Passenger Corporation [hereinafter “Amtrak”], Bombardier Corporation (“Bombardier”) and John Doe Manufacturing, Inc. (“John Doe”).
