This appeal is from the decision of the Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) Board of Appeals (board) in reissue application serial No. 865,610, filed December 29, 1977,1 *415for “Digital Counter Driven Pacer.” Claims 1, 2, 6, 7, and 9-16 (all of the claims in the application) stand rejected on the ground of a defective reissue declaration, and claims 1, 2, 6, 7, 9-11, 13, and 14 are rejected on the ground of obviousness in view of the following references:
