The petitioner has filed this application for the issuance of a writ of habeas corpus, claiming that he has been the victim of an illegal search and seizure in violation of the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution. Petitioner was charged on a bill of information filed by the Assistant District Attorney for the Parish of Orleans, State of Louisiana, on July 9, 1964, with possession of narcotics.
