This proceeding was commenced before the Nebraska state railway commission and there prosecuted to a final order. The Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad Company, a common carrier , of passengers and freight in Nebraska and in other states, applied for permission to discontinue motor passenger trains numbered 97 and 98 w’hich are operated daily except Sunday on the branch line of railroad between Beatrice and Holdrege.
