The by-laws of the defendant corporation provide that “each stockholder shall''be entitled to a certificate of his *175stock under the seal of the corporation, and signed by its president and treasurer.” The certificates taken by the respective plaintiffs each called for these two signatures, and purported to bear them. The plaintiffs were therefore apprised of the necessity for two signatures. In point of fact, however, the certificates did not bear the signature of the treasurer, his name having been forged by the president.
