On February 2, 2012, Terry L. Pipkin (Debtor) filed a voluntary petition for relief under the provisions of Chapter 7 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. On May 7, 2012, the United States of America on behalf of the Social Security Administration (SSA) filed a complaint to determine the debt owed by Debtor to the SSA for overpayment of disability benefits in the sum of $49,517.70 to be declared non-dischargeable pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 523(a)(2) on the grounds that the debt was incurred by false pretense or false representation.
