The appellee, S. A. Gordy, suffered a heart attack on February 6, 1953 while in the employment of the appellant, Mississippi Products, Inc. His heart condition was diagnosed as a coronary occlusion resulting in a myocardial infarction. The appellee’s employer was qualified as a self-insurer under the provisions of the Mississippi Workmen’s Compensation Act, and the appellee filed a claim for benefits under tbe Act, claiming that his heart attack arose out of and in the course of Ms employment and was a compensable injury within the purview of the Act.
