Appellants are the Simi Valley Unified School District, Royal High School, the Marmonte Athletic League and its individual members. They prevented a student, Jessica Zuehlsdorf, from participating in high school athletics. Respondent David Zuehlsdorf, her father and guardian ad litem, filed a writ of mandate and an application for a temporary restraining order against appellants.
