The plaintiff in error presents by this record the question of the validity of an ordinance of the.city of Chicago which provided that after January 2, 1928, no person owning, controlling or operating any vehicle should cause or permit it to stand on any public street or alley in the city of Chicago within a district bounded on the north by Waclcer drive, on the east by Michigan boulevard, on the south by the south line of Harrison street and on the west by Market street, between the hours of 7 :oo o’clock in the morning and 6:30 in the evening, except on Sundays, certain holidays, and on…
