Before the Court is the complaint of Lillian G. Altavilla to have two debts owed to her excepted from the effect of discharge under § 523(a)(5) of the Bankruptcy Code. Mrs. Altavilla, having obtained a decree nisi from the Barnstable Probate Court on April 10, 1981 (said judgment becoming final on October 10, 1981), claims that the order of the Probate Court requiring the debtor, Raphael Altavilla, to pay to her $10,000 in monthly installments of $166 was in the nature of an alimony award, for her support and…
