Bell, Justice.

Mrs. Louise P. Finsterwald as executrix of the estate of her mother, Mrs. Edith Pappenheimer, filed a petition *795against the Trust Company of Georgia, a corporation of this State, seeking establishment of a certificate for seventeen shares of stock in that company, alleged to have been lost or destroyed while belonging to Mrs. Pappenheimer or to her estate, and while registered in her name as a stockholder, upon the books of the company.
