MONTEMURO, Judge:

Plaintiff-appellant, Julia C. Smith (hereinafter “Smith”), appeals from the entry of summary judgment in favor of defendant-appellee, Firemens Insurance Co. of Newark, New Jersey (hereinafter “Firemens”). Smith brought this action to recover medical expense benefits allegedly owed under an insurance contract existing between Smith and Firemens. The parties entered into a stipulation of facts and submitted cross-motions for summary judgment on the issue of Firemens’ liability for the medical expenses.
