This suit is brought for specific performance of an agreement to sell real estate. Sometime prior to April 25th, 1944, the complainants, Patrick Monahan and his wife, Nora, read an advertisement in a newspaper to the effect that the defendants, Gerald A. McElligott and Ellen McElligott, desired to sell their property at 701 Woodland Avenue, Roselle Park, New Jersey.
