On the fourth day of March, 1909, plaintiff, as assignee of certain claims for goods sold and delivered to the Western Zinc Mining Company, a corporation, commenced his action against this corporation upon these claims. The complaint was verified and contained the usual and appropriate averment of the corporate existence and capacity of the defendant. On the twenty-fourth day of March, 1909, what purported to be the answer of the corporation ivas filed. This answer was verified by obe P. A.
