HUNT, District Judge.
On July 18, 1905, a petition in involuntary bankruptcy was filed in the District Court of the United States for the Western District of Washington, Western Division, by Veysey Bros., T. H. McKay, S. M. Heath, and W. H. Abel; praying that Joseph Bernard, appellant here, be adjudged a bankrupt under the bankruptcy laws of the United States. The principal ground for the petition in involuntary bankruptcy was that within four months preceding the filing of the petition Bernard, while insolvent, committed an act of bankruptcy, in that he transferred a portion of his property…
