LEVINSON, Judge.

Defendants appeal from a jury trial held on the issue of damages, contending that the trial court erred in denying their motion for a new trial. We affirm.

I

On 28 July 2000, Jeff Custer was driving a tractor-trailer owned by Con-Way Truckload Services, Inc. (defendants). Custer was an employee of Con-Way Truckload Services.
