OPINION AND ORDER
FUSTE, District Judge.
As the final chapter in this epic lawsuit, we have before the court the motions of several defendants for attorneys’ fees and sanctions. We briefly summarize the relevant features of the convoluted path of this litigation.
The case was originally filed as a class action in 1982. Plaintiffs, purchasers of real estate in Florida, alleged causes of action under the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act, the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934, and the Organized Crime Control Act (RICO).
