This matter comes before the Court on Defendants’ motion for sanctions, attorneys’ fees and costs against Plaintiffs counsel, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1927. 1 The principal issue to be decided is whether Defendants have demonstrated that Plaintiffs counsel vexatiously multiplied the proceedings by persisting in prosecuting claims for monetary damages that were not factually supportable.
