In this action Rex Holland and his father John G. Holland (now deceased) sought recovery against Arthur E. Moreton (and members of his family as his transferees) to recover damages suffered because of fraud practiced upon the plaintiffs by Arthur E. Moreton in connection with the sale of certain mining claims to Columbia Iron Mining Company, a subsidiary of United States Steel Corporation.
