This was an action in the district court for Adams county by the plaintiff in error Joseph Thomas, trustee, who sued to recover from the defendants Carson, Doyen, Spicknell, and Brunningsen, on the undertaking of the first named defendant as a bonded abstracter. The bond set out in the petition below is in substantial compliance with chapter 64, Laws, 1887 (Compiled Statutes, ch. 73, séc. 65 et seq.). The breach alleged as the cause of action is the making and certifying by Carson, the principal in said bond, of an abstract of the title to a certain quarter-section of land in Adams county,…
