Appellee, Michael Harvey Sheppard, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture methamphetamine. He filed a motion to suppress evidence that the trial court granted after an evidentiary hearing. The State appealed, arguing that the officer’s conduct was reasonable under the Fourth Amendment.
