*829A jury convicted Johnny Jerome Wilford of assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury (Pen. Code,1 § 245, subd. (a)(4) ; count 1), battery with serious bodily injury (§ 243, subd. (d); count 2), resisting an officer (§ 148, subd. (a)(1); count 4), and two counts of corporal injury to a cohabitant (§ 273.5, subd.
