Judgment unanimously affirmed. Memorandum: Defendant was convicted following a jury trial of attempted murder in the second degree, assault in the first degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, kidnapping in the second degree and two counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The charges arose from the abduction and shooting of a man who was dating defendant’s former girlfriend.

Evidence that police bloodhounds tracked a scent from inside the victim’s vehicle to defendant, while he was being questioned at the Sheriff’s Office, was properly admitted into evidence.…
