OPINION

ROBINSON, Judge.

{1} Scott Southworth (Defendant) was convicted of aggravated battery and criminal trespass. Defendant argues first that the trial court erred in its attempt to clarify self-defense instruction UJI 14-5190 NMRA 2002 regarding whether a trespasser is entitled to stand his ground. Next, Defendant argues that the trial court erred in admitting the prior inconsistent statement he made during a custodial interrogation after he invoked his right to counsel.
