The Illinois Central Railroad Company and the Railway Express Agency, Inc., filed with the Illinois Commerce Commission on August 26, 1945, a petition seeking permission to close the agency station at Allenville, Moultrie County, and make it a prepay station. Evidence was heard and, on June 18, 1946, the commission entered an order denying the relief sought. A petition • for rehearing was denied.
