The motions for a nonsuit and a directed verdict were properly denied.

The plaintiff was struck by the defendant’s truck as it was turning the corner from East Spruce Street into Pine street in the city of Manchester, upon May 2, 1931. At this point the former street intersects but does not cross the latter. It was not seriously denied at the argument that there was evidence of the defendant’s fault. His admissions that he did not see the plaintiff at any time before he was hit and that he was engaged in using a hand-operated windshield wiper as he rounded the corner were plainly enough to…
