In this matter, we must consider the recommendation of the Judicial Qualifications Commission (“the Commission”) that Judge Dorothy J. Vaughn of the State Court of Fulton County be removed from office for reasons related to her judicial conduct. An inquiry regarding Judge Vaughn’s fitness to sit as a judge was initiated by the filing of a formal complaint with the Commission alleging that Judge Vaughn had violated Canons One, Two and Three of the Code of Judicial Conduct during the trial of a medical malpractice case, 1 and four ad ditional complaints alleging, inter alia, judicial misconduct…
