SCHOELEN, Judge:
The appellant, Frederick C. Gazelle, through counsel, appeals a March 18, 2014, Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board) decision in which the Board denied entitlement to special monthly compensation (SMC) under 38 U.S.C. § 1114(s)(l) (allowing for SMC when a claimant has a total disability rating plus an “additional service-connected disability or disabilities independently ratable at 60% or more”). Record of Proceedings (R.) at 3-7. This appeal is timely, and the Court has jurisdiction to review the Board’s March 2014 decision pursuant to 38 U.S.C. §§ 7252(a) and 7266(a). This…
