I. Introduction

We withdraw our opinion of November 21, 2013, and substitute the following opinion in its place.

This appeal, at its core, involves a dispute between a brother and a sister over the proceeds generated from property interests left to them by their father. Curry Glassell sued her brother, Alfred C.
