WALSH, Justice:

In this appeal from the Superior Court, we are required to determine whether the 1994 statutory enactments, which liberalized the State’s obligation to establish the chain of custody in drug cases, impair a defendant’s due process rights under the United States and Delaware constitutions. We conclude that the statutes in question, 10 Del.C. §§ 4381-32, although lessening the State’s burden to authenticate evidence prior to admission, do not impair a defendant’s due process rights.
