LIPEZ, Circuit Judge., This case presents questions about the protections of, the Fourth Amendment in the-context of police entries into -a private home. Plaintiff Glenda A. Smith (“Smith”) alleges violations of the U.S. Constitution and Ohio law stemming from a series of encounters with police officers. Each , of these encounters was--precipitated by reports that Smith was impaired by alcohol or otherwise posed a threat of neglect or abuse to her minor children.
