This action was instituted in the name of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, by the Commonwealth’s attorney, for the 27th judicial district, wherein Laurel comity is situated, to secure a forfeiture of the titles of the unknown owners and claimants, who claim title under and through a patent granted to one William Mor*371gan on the 26th day of October, 1815, for 640 acres of land, which is situated in that county, for the failure to list for taxation, and the non-payment of taxes upon the land for each year since and including- the year 1899.
