This case is before the court on a petition for review of a decision of the court of appeals, Hobl v. Lord, 157 Wis. 2d 13, 458 N.W.2d 536 (Ct. App. 1990). The majority of the court of appeals (Cane, P.J., dissenting) affirmed an order of the circuit court for Taylor County, Gary L. Carlson, Circuit Judge. The circuit court's order denied a motion for confirmation of a sheriffs sale brought by Farm Credit Bank of Saint Paul, formerly known as The Federal Land Bank of Saint Paul (Farm Credit), and granted a motion to permit redemption brought by Donald Lord (Lord).
