Harris v. West
United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims
1Opinion of the Court
FARLEY, Judge:
This is an appeal from an April 17, 1996, Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board or BVA) decision which denied the veteran’s claim for service connection for retinitis pigmentosa. *458Record (R.) at 10-11. Both parties filed briefs, and the Blinded Veterans Association filed an amicus curiae brief in support of the appellant. The Secretary filed a motion to strike the amicus brief; that motion is denied. This appeal is timely, and the Court has jurisdiction pursuant to 38 U.S.C. §§ 7252(a) and 7266(a). For the following reasons, the Court will affirm the Board’s decision.
