On September 10, 1934, the plaintiff was awarded a decree of divorce from defendant on the grounds of extreme cruelty by the circuit court for the county of Tuscola, in chancery. The court, finding that the plaintiff was a suitable person to have the care, custody and control of Robert William Burkhardt, the issue of the marriage, at that time one year of age, awarded her the custody of said child by its decree, and required defendant to pay the sum of three dollars per week for the support of the said child.
